Invitation to the Media Conference of the 20th Zurich Film Festival

Dear Media Representatives

We‘re delighted to invite you to the 20th Zurich Film Festival Media Conference.

Artistic Director Christian Jungen and Roger Crotti, Managing Director Spoundation Motion Picture AG and President of the Zurich Film Festival, will offer first-hand information about the programme, events and guests of this year’s Zurich Film Festival.

If you wish to attend the Media Conference, please register here before September 18. We would also like to remind you that media representatives can still register for accreditation here.

You will only be able to gain access to the media conference if you have a valid registration and a form of photographic identification.

Media Conference in Zurich with coffee and croissants

The Media Conference for German-Speaking Switzerland takes place at 08:45 at the DOLDER GRAND HOTEL in Zurich.

The Dolder Grand Hotel is easily accessible by public transport. Tram Line 8 runs directly from Stadelhofen station to the Römerhof stop. From there, the Dolderbahn takes you directly to the Dolder Grand Hotel.

For guests travelling by car, parking spaces are available at the Dolder Grand Hotel for a fee.

Media Conference in Lausanne with Star Guest Emil Steinberger follwed by apéro

The second Media Conference takes place on the same day at 15:00 at the Pathé Flon cinema in Lausanne.

Pathé Flon is easily accessible by public transport. Take the Metro N° 2 from Lausanne Main Station (direction Epalinges, Croisettes) to the stop Lausanne-Flon. From there it is a five-minute walk to the cinema.

Pathé Flon also has fee-based parking spaces.

Accreditation reminder

If you do not yet have your accreditation for the 20th Zurich Film Festival, we would like to remind you that you can still apply for accreditation via our website until September 20 (23:59) for a fee of CHF 70.-. If you apply for accreditation before September 20 and pay the fee before September 22, your accreditation badge will be sent to you by post. You will receive your accreditation badge only by post if you are based in Switzerland. Otherwise you can pick it up at the Press Desk. It is also possible to get accredited on-site at the Press Desk during the festival. In this case, a fee of CHF 100.- is due and can only be paid using a cash-free method.

Zurich Film Festival

The Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) is the second largest festival in the German-speaking world. Over 11 days in autumn, it presents the greatest discoveries and the year’s most anticipated movies. The ZFF promotes exchange between upcoming directors, established filmmakers, the film industry and the general public. In the last 20 years, the festival has attracted a total of 1.35 million visitors. 500 of the 2,300 films screened celebrated their world or European premiere at the Zurich Film Festival.

The 20th edition will take place from 3 October to 13 October 2024.
