Accreditation now open for the 21st Zurich Film Festival

Zurich, July 31, 2025

Dear Journalists
Dear Media Representatives

The 21st edition of the Zurich Film Festival will take place from September 25 to October 5, 2025. You can now apply for your accreditation via MyZFF to be part of this year’s ZFF.

This year brings two important changes: For the first time, a digital accreditation badge will be introduced. In addition, the procedure for booking press tickets for regular screenings has been updated.

PRESS ACCREDITATIONS

A press accreditation grants access to the following screenings and events:

  • Press screenings
  • Regular film screenings with a ticket* (excluding Gala Premieres)
  • Green Carpets with registration via email to [email protected]
  • Photocalls
  • Award ceremonies and Q&As in the auditorium with registration via email [email protected]
  • Press conferences with registration via email to [email protected]
  • Meet the Filmmakers with registration via email to [email protected]
  • ZFF Masters with a ticket and registration via email to [email protected]**
  • SoundTrack_Zurich with a ticket and registration via email to [email protected]**

Information on bookings

*Tickets from the Press quota for screenings can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 8:00 AM, three days prior to the screening date, and until 8:00 AM the day before the screening. After this deadline, any remaining reserved quota will be released. If tickets are still available in the general ticket shop, free last-minute tickets can be booked starting 45 minutes before the screening begins. Press may cancel booked tickets up to two hours prior to the screening.

**A ticket must be requested in advance via email to [email protected]. A reserved quota of tickets is available for each of these events. Ticket confirmations will be sent on the evening before the event. Tickets must be presented with accreditation.

PHOTO/TV ACCREDITATION

Photo and camera crews require a free Photo/TV Accreditation. This grants access to the following events. Please note that space may be limited and additional registration may be required:

HOW ACCREDITATION WORKS

1. Deadlines
Online accreditation can be requested via your personal MyZFF account until September 18, 2025. The fee must be paid no later than September 22, 2025 at 12:00 AM.

If the accreditation application is submitted on or after September 18, 2025, or if the application is submitted before September 18, 2025 but payment made after 12:00 AM on September 22, 2025, an additional fee will be charged. Details about the late fee can be found in the "Payment" section.

2. Payment
The press accreditation fee is CHF 70 and can be paid online via the payment link provided in the confirmation email. Accreditation for photo and camera crews is free of charge.

Important: If the regular accreditation fees are not paid on time or the application is submitted late, a late fee will apply:

  • if the application is submitted on or after September 18, 2025, or
  • if a timely submitted application is not paid by September 22, 2025 at 12:00 AM
The late fee for press accreditation is CHF 30.

3. Digital Accreditation Badge
Once the accreditation fee has been successfully paid, you can download your digital accreditation badge directly and save it to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or print it at home.

If you prefer a physical badge, you can request one by emailing [email protected]. Please note that the physical badge can only be collected from September 25, 2025 during the opening hours of the Press Desk at the Festival Center. A valid ID must be presented upon collection.
