Zurich, September 18, 2025
Dear Media Professionals, The 21st Zurich Film Festival (September 25 – October 5) is just around the corner – we look forward to welcoming you soon! To ensure you are well prepared, we have summarised the most important points for your press work at the festival.
Important Points for Your Work at ZFF Activate Your Accreditation If you have already paid for your accreditation and received your digital badge, the process is almost complete – but not quite: please activate your accreditation to be able to reserve seats for regular screenings.
If you do not yet have a MyZFF account, please create one in advance in order to activate your accreditation. Important: When registering, be sure to use the same email address that was used for your accreditation.
Please find the activation guide here. Access the Media Dossier All essential information about the festival – from program sections to the leadership team and this year’s award winners – can be found in the digital Media Dossier on our website.
Please find the Media Dossier here.
Access to Press Screenings With your press accreditation, you can attend all press screenings. Please bring your digital or physical badge.
Please find the Press Screening overview here.
Book Tickets for Regular Screenings For all regular screenings (excluding Premium Screenings, ZFF Masters, and the Golden Icon Award), a press quota of seats is reserved:
- Tickets can be booked from 8:00 AM, three days before the screening (until 8:00 AM the day before, «first come, first served»).
- 45 minutes before the screening: free last-minute tickets, if seats are still available
- Cancellations are possible up to 2 hours before the screening
Participation in ZFF Masters If you wish to attend a ZFF Masters session, please register in advance via email at [email protected]. As seats are limited, attendance cannot be guaranteed even with accreditation.
Green Carpets and Photocalls On our website, you will find two up-to-date tables with all Green Carpet events and Photocalls. If you wish to attend a green carpet, you can request the necessary extra accreditation in advance via email at [email protected]. Photocalls are accessible to all accredited media and do not require registration.
Please find the Green Carpet overview here.

Interview Requests If you would like to request interviews with our guests (directors, actors, producers), please send your requests to [email protected]. If a Swiss distributor holds the rights to the film, please contact them directly. International press requests should be sent to [email protected].
Download Photo and Video Material The Zurich Film Festival continuously provides updated video and photo material, sound bites, interviews, and texts on zff.tmdb.pro. This service is offered in collaboration with the Territory Movie Database – the largest Swiss online platform for media and promotional materials in the film industry.
Please note: the material is intended for editorial use only and may not be used commercially.
Press Contacts: During the festival, you can find us at one of the two press desks in the festival center:
